Job summary

Osaic is hiring a Case Manager for Highland Capital Brokerage. The role supports the Life New Business Team, coordinating applications for life, LTC and DI products.

The position may be remote or office-based nationwide, collaborating with agents, VP’s, and carriers to ensure accurate, timely communication and successful case progression. Responsibilities include reviewing applications, ordering and tracking requirements, and negotiating with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is five years brokerage New Business, General Agency or Life Insurance company experience.

Responsibilities

• Review Life Applications for completeness and notify Agents/FA’s and VP's of missing forms or information needed.
• Verify that telephone/personal history interviews and inspection reports have been ordered.
• Review exam and non-medical requirements to determine risk class.
• Be proficient in financial underwriting for personal, estate planning and business insurance.
• Order medical records and communicate with carrier underwriters as needed.
• Responsible for APS follow-up with vendors or doctors and managing expectations.
• Review APS records for completeness and additional records if necessary.
• Reconcile outstanding requirements and set timelines with Agents and VP.
• Order illustrations and verify riders; assess 1035X implications.
• Prepare transmittals and cover letters; use Paperclip for submissions.
• Respond to requests for applications.
• Proficient with Referral Model and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with underwriting guidelines for non-U.S. Citizens.
