Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Life Equity Lending Documentation Specialist to prepare consumer and commercial loan documents in line with approved loan terms and regulatory requirements.

The role requires evaluating approvals and supporting documentation to determine necessary documents, ensuring proper lien position and collateral coverage, and collaborating with internal teams to finalize packages for closing.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Consumer and Commercial Loan Documentation parameters.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for consumer and commercial loans.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team; prioritize under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents in accordance with loan approval, pricing, repayment terms and collateral.
• Review deal submissions to determine required contents of the final loan package for closing.
• Collaborate with Loan Coordinator, Relationship/Portfolio Manager, and Credit on deal structure and documentation.
• Ensure documents adhere to Bank policies (CDD, OFAC, USA Patriot Act) and regulations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Laser Pro and core banking systems for doc prep and workflow.
