Job summary

Busey Life Equity Lending is seeking a Documentation Specialist to prepare consumer and commercial loan documents in compliance with approvals, bank policy and regulatory requirements. You will assess approvals and supporting documents to determine required documents and ensure proper lien positions and collateral coverage.

Collaborate with Loan Coordinators and Relationship Managers to finalize the package, verify CDD/OFAC compliance, and proficiently use Laser Pro and the bank's core systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 0-2 years' loan documentation experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Laser Pro and bank systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents per approval, pricing, collateral and conditions.
• Review deal submissions and determine required content for closing.
• Collaborate with Loan Coordinator and Relationship/Portfolio Manager on deal structure and documentation.
• Ensure documents comply with CDD, OFAC and USA Patriot Act regulations and related rules.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Laser Pro for document prep and bank core systems.
• Meet service level standards and maintain accountability metrics.
