Job summary

Busey is seeking a Documentation Specialist for Life Equity Lending to prepare consumer and commercial loan documents in line with approvals, bank policies, and regulatory requirements. The role involves evaluating approvals and supporting documents to determine required documents, ensuring proper lien position and collateral coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Consumer and Commercial Loan Documentation parameters.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for consumer and commercial loans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents in accordance with loan approval, including amounts, pricing, repayment terms and collateral.
• Review deal submissions to determine documentation parameters for final loan package.
• Collaborate with Loan Coordinator, Relationship/Portfolio Manager, and Credit associates on deal structure and documentation.
• Ensure documents adhere to Bank Policies (CDD, OFAC, USA Patriot Act) and Regulations (B, O, U and Z).
• Demonstrate proficiency with Laser Pro for document prep and bank systems for research and workflow.
