Job summary

Talkspace is seeking a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) to deliver mental health services to a diverse client base. You will work remotely from your state(s) of licensure, using Talkspace’s HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct video, audio, and messaging sessions.

You must hold an independent license (LICSW/LMFT/LPC) and have malpractice insurance and an NPI number. You’ll benefit from a flexible schedule, insurance handling by Talkspace, and no membership fees, with

Qualifications

Current license to practice independently without supervision in Washington, D.C.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy
Individual NPI number
Comfortable learning new online tools and technology
Reliable internet connection and video-capable device

Responsibilities

Treat clients remotely in your state(s) of licensure on the secure (HIPAA compliant) Talkspace platform
Conduct client sessions using video, audio, and live messaging services
Respond to asynchronous client messages each week, in a timely manner
Complete your required clinical documentation after each client session
