Job summary

Mood Health is hiring independent therapists to provide remote psychotherapy to clients across California. You will work as a W2 employee on a pay-per-encounter basis, with support to build your caseload and client access handled by Mood Health.

We offer flexible scheduling, with clinicians who value professional guidance, billing and admin support, and a collaborative clinical community. This role emphasizes independent practice with ongoing clinical supervision and support.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology/therapy in California.
California LCSW, LMFT or LPCC, or ability to pursue licensure.
2+ years of direct clinical experience with adults.
Comfortable delivering psychotherapy via telehealth with digital tools.
Experience using electronic health records and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients via secure telehealth platform.
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Participate in monthly clinical case reviews with Lead Psychologist.
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams as needed.
