Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Minimum of two years direct counseling experience in clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance client care.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups grounded in scientific principles and methodologies.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to facilitate client progress.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to create comprehensive care models for clients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities to remain current with emerging research and practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Renewed Visions, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional and psychological issues. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance abuse. Your expert guidance will not only support clients through their immediate challenges but also empower them to build resilience and coping strategies for the future.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
