Key Responsibilities

• Develop personalized therapeutic approaches for clients, employing comprehensive assessments and evaluations for effective treatment planning.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care effectively, including other mental health professionals and support staff.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to enhance service delivery and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops that align with current trends and advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a diverse array of clients, many of whom experience significant barriers to mental health care. Our client base includes individuals and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma-related issues, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines governing practice in mental health.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with a diverse clientele.
