Job summary

Consciousabraxas is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist for a part-time, remote telehealth role. The clinician will provide therapy to individuals, families, and couples, using DSM-5 criteria, and develop client-centered treatment plans across licensed states while collaborating with a startup team.

The position offers flexible hours and a W-2 arrangement, enabling remote work with supervision and ongoing professional growth in a mission-driven mental health company.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in your state of practice.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Experience in outpatient mental health, substance use, or teletherapy preferred.
• Proficient in treatment planning, client engagement, and virtual communication.
• Organized, compassionate, and able to work independently in a startup environment.
• Experience with culturally diverse or underserved populations.
• Bilingual or multilingual.
• Interest in helping shape a growing mental health startup.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy to individuals, families, and couples.
• Use DSM-5 criteria to offer mental health assessments and diagnostic impressions.
• Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
• Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support when needed.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team check-ins, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and fellow therapists for case consultation and guidance.
