Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health Center in Augusta, GA seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote role addressing anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders. You will perform assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and conduct teletherapy sessions with diverse clients.

The ideal candidate holds GA licensure (LMFT/LPC/LCSW), a bachelor’s degree with a master’s preferred, and at least four years of clinical experience, plus proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Georgia.
• Minimum of four years of clinical mental health counseling experience.
• Excellent crisis intervention and professionalism under pressure.
• Proficient in documenting encounters in EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations of clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based methods.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Equip clients with coping strategies and resources.
• Provide referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in EHR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
