Job summary

Cogwheel Behavioral Health is seeking licensed mental health counselors for full-time remote roles in the United States. You will provide evidence-based teletherapy to diverse clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation while engaging in ongoing professional development.

A strong emphasis on empathy, ethics, and collaboration guides our care approach. Qualified candidates hold LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or PsyD licensure with a relevant master’s/doctoral degree.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s/Doctoral preferred in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental attitude.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities for caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Provide one-on-one teletherapy sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Set therapeutic goals with clients and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision.
