Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a Washington-licensed HIM Coder for a full-time, remote position.

You will code hospital, ambulatory, and clinic services using ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS while ensuring compliance and workflow efficiency. Ideal candidates have a vocational certificate in medical terminology and coding guidelines, professional coder or RHIT certification, strong Excel skills, and solid customer service and organizational abilities to support a healthcare team.

Competenze

• Vocational certificate or diploma in medical terminology and coding guidelines.
• Certification as Professional Coder or RHIT or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT and E/M coding.
• Proficient in Windows and Excel; accurate data entry.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Code hospital, ambulatory surgery center, and clinic services using ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Maintain coding quality and productivity standards while tracking and reporting activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and training to improve coding quality and team communication.
