Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling from CACREP-accredited program or equivalent for licensure requirements.
• Must hold active, unrestricted counseling license (e.g., LPC/LMHC/LPCC) in at least one US state.
• Verifiable post-licensure counseling experience with assessment and treatment planning.
• Proficiency with HIPAA-compliant telehealth technology and secure messaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, or family counseling sessions via secure HIPAA-compliant video platforms.
• Maintain confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and licensing requirements.
• Adhere to ACA/NBCC ethics and state/federal telehealth laws in practice.
• Communicate with clients about counseling approach, fees, and policies.
• Set own session rates and manage client billing and payments directly.
• Provide telehealth services across states where licensed and compliant.
