Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Licensed Clinical Assessor for a fully remote role supporting the NH CAT program. You will conduct pediatric assessments by telephone, using trauma-informed clinical judgment and thorough documentation to determine services and level of care while managing caseloads independently.

Preferred licensure includes LICSW/LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT with NH residency and CANS certification. The role offers flexible hours, strong benefits, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current and active CANS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Current residency in New Hampshire.
• Experience with DCS/DCYF or inpatient/outpatient psychiatric, group home, or residential care settings.
• Experience conducting behavioral health assessments for children and adolescents.
• Experience supporting child-serving systems (mental health, child welfare, education, healthcare).
• Knowledge of New Hampshire behavioral health systems and community resources.
• Active NH independent clinical licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) or comparable independently practicing clinician.

Responsibilities

• Complete pediatric medical/behavioral health assessments using standardized tools per contract requirements; refer complex cases to senior staff.
• Conduct on-site, video, or telephonic assessments to determine needs, eligibility, and level of care per guidelines.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation and maintain confidentiality.
