Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative to analyze General liability, product liability, property damage and bodily injury claims for clients nationwide, with remote work eligibility. You will adjudicate claims within service expectations and client requirements, applying best practices and internal standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s preferred), and 2 years of claims management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business is a plus.
• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to determine exposure and ensure timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a professional and timely manner.
