Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner with General Liability experience to adjudicate complex claims for major clients. You will leverage Sedgwick's global network to learn, collaborate, and deliver customer-focused solutions in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five years of general liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Address and handle high end Public Entity General Liability cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios.
• Gathers and documents additional information and coordinates with client designees.
• Requests legal/private investigation; assigns to and coordinates with local counsel; monitors local counsel performance.
• Responds to plaintiff's counsel, union, employee, or client requests.
• Establishes/adjusts accrued liability and approves administrative expenses.
