Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex Public Entity General Liability cases with serious injuries and intricate coverage scenarios. You will engage with plaintiff counsel, unions, and clients while coordinating with local counsel to drive early resolutions.

The role emphasizes strong judgment, problem solving, and the ability to work independently within a flexible remote setting. A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-end Public Entity General Liability cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios.
• Coordinate with client designees, gather information, and seek early legal opinions or resolutions.
• Respond to plaintiff's counsel, unions, employees, or clients.
• Assign to and coordinate with local counsel; monitor local counsel performance.
