Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner with General Liability experience to adjudicate complex claims for public entities. You will work within a dynamic, client-focused environment, coordinating with local counsel and client designees to drive timely resolutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle high-end claims with complex coverage scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five+ years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent.
• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-end Public Entity General Liability cases with serious injuries, complex coverage scenarios and legal inquiries or disputes; provide legal opinions and early resolution.
• Gather documents and coordinate with client designees; request legal/private investigations and coordinate with local counsel; monitor local counsel performance.
• Respond to plaintiffs' counsel, unions, employees, or client requests; establish/adjust accrued liability and approve administrative expenses.
