Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Claims Examiner to analyze General Liability, Auto Liability and Premises claims for top clients, determining benefits due while upholding service standards and best practices.

You will work in a flexible, hybrid role with remote options, leveraging Sedgwick’s global network and development opportunities. Ideal candidates have 5 years of claims management experience, a HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and multi-jurisdiction licensing.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: Multi Jurisdictions; Licensing: Required; NY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and ensure timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to excess carriers and responding to directions professionally.
