Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Claims Examiner to analyze General Liability, Auto Liability and Premise claims for our clients and determine benefits due while maintaining service expectations and industry best practices.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of claims management experience, multi-jurisdiction licensing, and a strong focus on client service. The role offers flexible scheduling, an agile environment, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: Multi Jurisdictions
• Licensing: Required, NY Preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and ensure timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally and timely.
