Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in claims management, seeks a Liability Claims Examiner to analyze General Liability, Auto Liability and Premise claims for our valued clients. You will determine benefits due and adjudicate claims while upholding service standards.

You will join a growing team in a hybrid environment, negotiating settlements within authority, coordinating with claimants and clients, and leveraging Sedgwick’s broad network for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: NY preferred; multi-jurisdictions knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze General Liability, Auto Liability & Premises claims to determine benefits due.
• Adjudicate claims with timely resolution per client service requirements.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity to claimants and clients.
