Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment required.
• Experience retrieving legal and corporate documents with familiarity with court systems, legal terminology, citations, and research processes.
• Knowledge of research platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, Capital IQ, EDGAR, and docket databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, and client service mindset.
• Ability to follow procedures, templates, and client instructions in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Locate and retrieve legal and business materials using citations and foundational search techniques.
• Conduct research and develop search strategies; summarize findings with guidance from senior researchers.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client instructions.
• Monitor client requests and provide timely updates while elevating issues when needed.
• Prepare research summaries, reports, presentations, and Excel workbooks using templates.
• Use request management systems, Teams, SharePoint, and related tools to manage workflows and storage.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and participate in training and knowledge sharing.
