Job summary

RWS - TrainAI is seeking Legal Annotators to support multilingual data collection, evaluation and annotation of contracts in Portuguese (Portugal). This is a remote freelance role for candidates with legal expertise and strong contract interpretation.

You will review clauses, obligations and terms in business agreements, participate in onboarding and quality reviews, and work in secure client environments. Flexible schedule, 25+ hours weekly, with immediate start and end-of-October duration;

Qualifications

• Contract or legal domain expertise, with strong legal interpretation and contract-review skills (especially regarding international and cross-jurisdictional contracts).
• Fluency in English alongside the relevant target language.
• Prior data-annotation experience or familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and quality assurance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Multilingual legal-domain data collection, evaluation, and annotation.
• Analyzing clauses, obligations, and terms within complex business agreements.
• Participating in onboarding, calibration sessions, and targeted quality reviews.
• Collaborating on multi-use-case workflows within secure client environments.
