Job summary

RWS is seeking Legal Annotators to support the training and evaluation of AI capabilities for contract management platforms. This flexible remote, freelance role starts immediately and runs through the end of October, offering a rate of 36.45 USD/hour and a part-time schedule of 25+ hours per week.

Candidates should have contract or legal domain expertise, English and a target language, and, ideally, familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and QA tasks.

Qualifications

• Contract or legal domain expertise, with strong legal interpretation and contract-review skills (international and cross-jurisdictional contracts).
• Fluency in English alongside the relevant target language.
• Prior data-annotation experience or familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and quality assurance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform multilingual legal-domain data collection, evaluation, and annotation across international business contracts.
• Analyze clauses, obligations, and terms within complex business agreements.
• Participate in onboarding, calibration sessions, and targeted quality reviews.
• Collaborate on multi-use-case workflows within secure client environments.
