Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leave and Accommodations Specialist to administer leaves of absence and workplace accommodations across federal, state, and company programs. You will guide employees and managers through processes, coordinate with third-party administrators, and maintain confidential medical information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years HR experience including leave administration, disability accommodations, benefits, or related areas.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, state and local leave requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for high-volume caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leave requests from intake through closure, including eligibility review and coordination across programs.
• Lead ADA interactive process, evaluate accommodations, and coordinate implementation.
• Analyze complex leave matters and advise on potential adjustments or placements.
• Explain leave and accommodation requirements clearly to employees and leaders.
• Coordinate with third-party administrators for claims and documentation.
• Manage return-to-work planning with medical releases and restrictions.
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance across systems.
