Qualifications

• 2–5 years of leave and accommodation administration experience.
• Familiar with federal and state leave laws and regulations.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• CPDM/CLMS certifications preferred.

Summary

SUMMARY: The Leave Management Specialist administers and coordinates employee leave of absence, accommodation and job reassignment programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, healthcare providers, and third-party administrators regarding leave requests and accommodation. The specialist provides guidance throughout the leave process while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

EXPERIENCE:

2-5 years of experience in leave and accommodation administration and job reassignment processes required.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws and regulations.
• Understanding of ADA accommodation requirements and interactive process.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
