Job summary

Essex Property Trust, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Leasing) in Irvine to manage leads, schedule tours, and showcase community features. The role focuses on phone-based leasing with warm leads and no cold-calling, supported by a centralized sales hub and CRM tools.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in retail or inside sales, strong communication, and familiarity with CRM systems. On-site work, weekend availability, and a commission plan enhance earnings and career growth

Qualifications

> 1 year of experience in retail sales, inside sales, call center operations or customer service with upselling focus.
> Proven work experience in sales or customer service with targets.
> Previous phone sales experience is a plus.
> Proficient understanding of the Microsoft suite, familiarity with CRM systems.
> Availability to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

> Manage incoming leads in the CRM system and schedule tours to provide a high-quality leasing experience.
> Maintain pipeline and follow up with prospects with tailored updates to assist home search.
> Present community features to prospects and pair them with apartments that fit their criteria.
> Conduct leasing activities remotely when needed and ensure data accuracy in CRM.
