Job summary

Shannon Property Management is seeking a Leasing & Communication Specialist to serve as the central point of contact for leasing-related communications across high volumes of inquiries. This remote role supports leasing operations, coordinates showings, and ensures timely responses to prospective residents while maintaining a professional, empathetic approach.

You’ll work with platforms like AppFolio, LeadSimple, Rent Engine, Tenant Turner, and DialPad to manage workflows, while collaborating

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, communications, or administrative support.
• Real estate or property management experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-volume environments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Tech-confident and able to learn new platforms quickly
• Experience with AppFolio, LeadSimple, Rent Engine, or similar platforms is a plus
• Availability to work occasional overtime and participate in a rotating weekend schedule as business needs require

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound leasing inquiries via phone, text, and email
• Ensure timely responses to new leads and maintain service level expectations
• Schedule and confirm property showings and provide self-tour instructions
• Follow up with prospective residents to support leasing conversions
• Coordinate and promote open houses for available listings
• Maintain accurate lead statuses in AppFolio and Tenant Turner
• Collaborate with the Application and Renewal teams to provide applicant updates
• Serve as a liaison between residents, owners, vendors, and internal team members
• Ensure all communication remains compliant with Fair Housing guidelines
• Use company platforms such as LeadSimple, AppFolio, Tenant Turner, DialPad, and Slack to manage workflows and communication
• Diagnose operational issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them efficiently
• Support leasing and tenant engagement efforts during high-volume periods
