Job summary

WellSense Health Plan is seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to lead strategy, design, and delivery of scalable training for our Member and Provider call center teams. You’ll build onboarding, continuous development, and compliance programs to improve service quality and meet regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Director, you’ll work with Instructional Designers, Trainers, and operational leaders to drive measurable learning outcomes across remote and on-site settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a health plan setting or related field.
• 5+ years in learning and development.
• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years in managed healthcare or insurance operations.
• 5+ years in call center environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training programs for Member and Provider call center teams, including onboarding, systems training, soft skills, and compliance.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding, training, and continuous development of Customer Experience Support teams globally.
• Design, implement, and optimize learning programs for virtual environments.
