Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is seeking an Associate II 1001 Assessments and Recruitment to support leadership discernment and community formation from a home-based role in the United States. The role emphasizes coordinating assessment programs, creating resources, and partnering with mid councils, seminaries, and racially ethnic caucuses to foster new worshiping communities.

The position requires several years in related program work, experience with 1001 assessment programs, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Proficiency using the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) and other appropriate software.
• Familiarity with Canva, Jotform, and Basecamp or similar project management software is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute 1001 Leadership Assessments with partners (education, discernment).
• Educate mid councils on leadership qualities and competencies for new worshiping communities.
• Create vocational discernment opportunities and introductions to 1001NWCs with partners.
• Facilitate counseling with individual prospective NWC leaders in discernment of their call.
• Develop and update resources for starting and sustaining new worshiping communities.
• Interpret the vision of 1001 NWCs and PL&W to councils, congregations, and groups.
• Participate in evaluation of the 1001 NWCs program.
