Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO seeks a Director of Primary Care Faculty Practices to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for adult and pediatric primary care across the Colorado Front Range. You will lead clinical practice leads, develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and align clinical goals with the university's mission.

You will supervise faculty, coordinate credentialing, foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Current RN, APN and RxN licensures in good standing (Any State). Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire.
• Minimum of five (5) years of full-scope primary care experience as an FNP; four (4) years of progressive leadership experience in the primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic liaison between clinic staff and Associate Dean of Clinical and Community Affairs to align clinical operations and patient care goals.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and patient safety.
• Coordinate and facilitate credentialing and privileging with CU Nursing Credentialing Committee and related offices.
• Manage clinical resources responsibly, aligning with fiscal goals and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and support clinical practice faculty across multiple sites including community health clinics.
