Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and Master's Degree preferred (experience can be considered in lieu of a degree).
• 8-10 years of experience in healthcare economics, financial analysis, or related field, preferably within a healthcare setting, required
• 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or management role required
• Experience working for another healthcare payer is highly preferred
• Experience working with regulators is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the medical economics strategy, aligning with organizational goals.
• Analyze claims, utilization patterns, and cost data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Conduct complex financial modeling and forecasting of healthcare initiatives and reimbursement strategies.
• Collaborate with finance, actuarial, clinical, product, and network teams to design population-based interventions.
• Lead development of analytical tools, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership.
• Stay current with healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and reimbursement models.
• Drive cost containment and performance-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with data management and IT to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
