Job summary

Mercy seeks a Manager - Managed Care to implement Mercy’s managed care strategy and build strong relationships with health plans and other stakeholders. This role coordinates commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care contracts and payer relation activities, ensuring communication about programs and services across internal and external audiences.

The position emphasizes independence, financial acumen, and sound judgment, with a remote work arrangement requiring Arkansas residency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Managed Care required.
• Contracting experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle is a plus and may be trainable for the right candidate, even without a Managed Care or Provider Relations background.

Responsibilities

• Implement Mercy's managed care strategy and develop payer relations with health plans and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care contracts and payer relation activities.
• Communicate programs, services and other relevant information to internal and external constituents.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy Service Standards and organizational mission.
