St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Workday Security Lead & Architect to own the security model, governance, and strategic direction across the Workday platform. This role partners with Information Security, Internal Audit, and Workday program leadership to manage risk and enable appropriate access.

Remote work may be possible within approved U.S. locations, with travel for interviews and on-site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information science, business, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ progressive IT experience with data architecture, SoD, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the Workday security architecture and configuration model, including access policies and roles.
• Lead design and implementation of security roles, groups, and access models using least privilege.
• Provide architectural review for security changes across Workday areas and ensure compliance.
• Oversee audits and remediation of security-related risks in collaboration with Internal Audit and InfoSec.
• Maintain and evolve security monitoring and governance capabilities (e.g., SmartAudit).
• Lead security-related projects with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Serve as escalation point for complex security issues and mentor junior staff.
