Job summary

PowerWright Technologies is seeking a Senior/Lead Transmission Line Engineer to be responsible for the detailed engineering design of high voltage (69 - 500 kV) power line projects. You will manage projects remotely, collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure the best design solutions.

The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in transmission line design, a BS degree in engineering, and strong communication and leadership skills. This position requires occasional travel for field visits and project data collection.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in designing transmission lines.
• PE Registration is preferred.
• Experience with foundation design software such as MFAD and LPile.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates detailed phases of engineering.
• Manages project e-files for projects within the department.
• Conducts field visits to collect data.
• Mentors younger engineers.
