Job summary

Convatec seeks a Lead Technical Project Manager to oversee advanced wound care development programs and lifecycle management within its Next Generation Adaptive Platform. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams to meet scope, timing and budgets.

Primarily remote with travel to Convatec facilities in the UK and Europe; 7+ years in medical device NPD, and strong ISO 13485/design control expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering NPD projects for a medical device company.
• Good understanding of ISO 13485 and design controls.
• Prior experience developing wound care products preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Leader and team-player who networks across organizational hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Project manage high priority projects to deliver on time and within scope and budget.
• Establish, drive & nurture a high-performing team culture.
• Create detailed project plans with resources and budgets.
• Coordinate budget planning and monthly spend predictions.
• Ensure workstreams are integrated into master schedules.
• Develop effective stakeholder communication plans.
• Review schedules with senior management and adjust as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Design Control and IDEAL processes.
• Set up and archive project documentation.
• Create meeting agendas and record actions and risks.
• Support PMO to improve tools, processes and systems.
