Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the core subsystems of our simulation software platform. You will guide architectural decisions, champion modern engineering practices, and lead the delivery of complex features while safeguarding the codebase's long-term health.

You will operate with significant autonomy as a trusted expert in the domain, contributing to a high-performance, Windows-focused desktop environment and remote-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of desktop software development, ideally from a simulation software background.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14 or later).
• Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
• Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (e.g., XML, JSON).
• Applying ML to simulation.
