Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive design and development of complex software applications using Microsoft .NET and Azure. The role is remote with core hours and requires strong leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include estimating effort for PBIs, delivering PBIs with .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Azure SQL, and ensuring QA and HIPAA-compliant practices. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with Microsoft C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo UI, and SQL Server/Azure SQL.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex software applications with team collaboration.
Investigate new solutions and techniques to improve coding standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues and propose detailed resolutions.
Support testing and remediate defects.
Mentor entry and mid-level developers.
Create and complete PBIs for web apps using .NET, VS, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL.
Present web applications to internal stakeholders.
