Humana is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to steer QA strategy for Medicaid Clinical platforms and integrations, ensuring reliability across pre-production and production. You will lead a team of testers, set standards, and scale automation for functional, regression, integration, configuration, and production validation testing.

You will partner with Product, Development, and clinical stakeholders to identify risks, drive quality improvements, and communicate progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA/quality engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years creating and validating test cases and scenarios.
• Hands-on experience developing automated test suites.
• Experience with defect identification, triage, and resolution.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience leading functional, regression, integration and configuration testing.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of testers by prioritizing, defining responsibilities, and ensuring testing deliverables.
• Coach and develop team members; promote collaboration and consistent testing practices.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of testing staff.
• Manage team capacity and testing assignments based on priorities, releases, and risk.
• Coordinate testing coverage for scheduled releases, including night or early testing.
• Define and maintain testing strategy for Medicaid Clinical platform.
• Lead end-to-end, production validation testing and automation initiatives.
• Establish standards for test cases, data, and evidence; review requirements for gaps.
• Lead defect triage and collaborate with Product, developers, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Monitor test coverage, defects trends, and automation effectiveness; drive process improvements.
