Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to drive QA strategy for Medicaid Clinical platforms and integrations. You will lead a testers team, define testing standards, and build automated suites to ensure release readiness across pre-prod and production environments.

The role requires strong collaboration with Product, Dev, and clinical stakeholders, experience in Agile, and capacity planning for production releases, including occasional night testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or QA engineering.
• 2–3 years creating, reviewing, executing, and validating test cases.
• Hands-on experience developing automated test suites.
• Experience with defect identification, triage, and resolution.
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and establish scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Delivery: Lead a team of testers, set priorities, coach, onboard, and manage capacity for releases.
• Quality Engineering & Testing: Define testing strategy, lead functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing; build automated suites.
• Defect Management & Collaboration: Triage defects, document and track fixes, coordinate with Product, Dev, and clinical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor coverage, trends, and automation, propose process and workflow improvements.
