Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead Product Engineer for AIOps observability to join a remote team. You will design AI-driven observability capabilities to monitor, diagnose, and stabilize distributed systems, blending software engineering with automation and AI to speed incident response.

You will partner across platform, infra, and operations to enhance reliability, resilience, and performance, shaping autonomous incident management and AI-powered diagnostics at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/automation for observability and distributed systems.
• 4+ years with observability platforms like Datadog, Dynatrace, or OTEL.
• 3+ years of software development with Java (Spring Boot), Python, Node.js, or React.
• 2+ years building agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents and AI-native apps.
• Proven ability to design AI-driven automation and AIOps solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic AI solutions for autonomous issue management.
• Embed AI/ML capabilities into observability platforms for predictive insights and anomaly detection.
• Develop AIOps frameworks to automate workflows and expedite incident responses.
• Leverage LLMs and AI orchestration for self-service diagnostics.
• Architect end-to-end observability solutions that integrate logs and metrics.
• Enhance observability platforms with custom integrations and AI features for improved monitoring.
• Lead initiatives for infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment, focusing on system resilience and performance.
