You will partner across platform, infra, and operations to enhance reliability, resilience, and performance, shaping autonomous incident management and AI-powered diagnostics at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/automation for observability and distributed systems.
• 4+ years with observability platforms like Datadog, Dynatrace, or OTEL.
• 3+ years of software development with Java (Spring Boot), Python, Node.js, or React.
• 2+ years building agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents and AI-native apps.
• Proven ability to design AI-driven automation and AIOps solutions.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Product Engineer - (AIOps for Observability) - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the design and delivery of AI-driven observability capabilities that improve how distributed systems are monitored, diagnosed, and stabilized. The person in this position will blend software engineering, automation, and AI to create more autonomous incident management and faster response workflows. This is a highly cross-functional role that will partner with platform, infrastructure, and operations stakeholders to strengthen reliability, resilience, and performance across the technology environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $100,000 - $170,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic AI solutions for observability that enable autonomous issue management
