Job summary

Natera is seeking a Supervisor, Prior Authorization to oversee the daily operations of the Prior Authorization teams, including domestic and offshore staff, ensuring timely and accurate case resolution and adherence to performance standards.

You will monitor KPIs, coordinate with Billing, Insurance Verification, Denials & Appeals, and other Revenue Cycle functions, driving process improvements to minimize reimbursement delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with prior authorization experience.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of payer policies and denial/appeal processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Prior Authorization teams to ensure efficient workflows.
• Lead domestic and offshore staff with consistent processes and quality.
• Monitor KPIs like productivity, turnaround times, and backlog.
• Investigate denials and coordinate appeals; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to payer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Billing, Insurance Verification, Denials & Appeals, and other RC functions.
• Identify trends and drive process improvements to reduce delays.
