Are you an experienced Power Systems or Simulation Engineer with a strong background in production cost modeling and energy markets, looking to take technical ownership of mission-critical market analytics software? Want to play a key role in shaping the software driving North American ISO power markets and grid planning?

You will join the specialized team behind industry-standard market simulation software, playing a direct role in supporting product development, transmission analytics, and complex client implementations.

In this lead engineering position, you will step up to drive end-to-end design, code reviews, and advanced feature development for cutting-edge simulation tools. You’ll collaborate with a fast-paced team to interpret evolving ISO market rules, troubleshoot transmission analytics, and serve as a technical anchor for key license-holders across the sector.

The Role:

• Drive end-to-end design and feature development for energy simulation software.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and code reviews to answer technical execution questions.
• Define detailed product requirements driven by evolving ISO market rules.
• Support clients with custom implementations, focusing on transmission and power flow.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation on key functions, algorithms, and models.

The Person:

• Experience with production cost modeling or simulation software.
• Strong background in transmission and power flow analysis for production modeling.
• Solid understanding of day-ahead/real-time markets, LMP, and transmission congestion.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. power markets like PJM, ERCOT, or CAISO.
