Inspira is seeking a Lead Platform Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role covers the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, with emphasis on front-end and back-end development, architecture, and modern tooling.

You will work with product and design leaders to deliver consumer-facing digital products on a health benefits platform, embracing AI tools responsibly while maintaining high-quality, scalable code in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and frameworks.
• Understanding of CD patterns, cloud foundations, observability, and developer experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with practical AI experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications (APIs, web apps) per standards.
• Collaborate with Product and Design Leaders to deliver product goals.
• Set short-to-medium term technical direction and plans.
• Participate in peer-reviews and code quality efforts.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions to scale business needs.
• Ensure non-functional requirements: security, performance, reliability.
• Work in an Agile framework to improve developer experience.
