Job summary

Trio Workforce Solutions is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the architecture and technical direction of our AI-powered Digital Worker platform. You will oversee agentic workflows, retrieval architectures, and orchestration while collaborating with Product, Data, Platform, and executives.

The role blends hands-on engineering with a growth path toward people leadership, mentoring a small team and partnering across the company to scale AI capabilities for healthcare workforce management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software or data engineering.
• 2+ years building production LLM-powered systems.
• Deep knowledge of agentic systems, RAG, and AI orchestration.
• Strong distributed systems and software architecture fundamentals.
• Professional proficiency in Python; polyglot environment.
• Experience mentoring engineers on technical decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and exec audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction for the Digital Worker platform and AI capabilities.
• Lead technical design reviews and balance quality, latency, cost, and complexity.
• Build reusable frameworks for agent orchestration and memory.
• Define monitoring, tracing, and logging standards for production AI systems.
• Mentor the AI Engineering team and align technical strategy with business goals.
