Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. seeks a Lead Auditor to ensure the QA program is implemented effectively in nuclear projects. You will plan and conduct NQA-1 audits, lead surveillances, and manage corrective actions across internal and supplier audits.

qualifications: strong NQA-1 knowledge, 5+ years in leading nuclear QA audits, and ability to obtain Lead Auditor status within six months. Remote work option with travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with nuclear QA audit experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading nuclear QA audits (or 7 years with an associate’s degree).
• Experience with regulatory requirements (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B).
• Ability to qualify as Lead Auditor within six months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct NQA-1 audits of nuclear processes.
• Perform surveillances to monitor QA standards.
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Liaise with stakeholders to manage corrective action process.
• Develop and improve quality programs and procedures.
• Maintain Lead Auditor certification under NQA-1.
• Review project packages for contract review and closeout.
• Review calibration records to support project activities.
• Update supplier list and annual/triennial supplier information.
