Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Lead Networking Engineer for a full-time remote position with 25% travel within the US and EMEA. You will lead LAN/WAN design efforts and provide expert guidance on complex network problems, leveraging AWS/Azure cloud experience and F5 load balancers.

The role requires strong communication, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and 8–12 years of related experience (or equivalent). Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification required.
• CCIE certification preferred.
• 8–12 years of related experience (or advanced degrees with equivalent).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of network solutions for LAN/WAN at Fresenius.
• Provide direction in resolution of complex networking problems.
• Create and maintain network design docs and Visio diagrams.
• Collaborate with IT teams on enterprise software/hardware selection.
• Manage data communications projects from analysis to implementation.
• Keep current with industry networking practices and recommend improvements.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
• Coordinate travel up to 25% within the US and EMEA.
