Qualifications

• 10 years of Mainframe Systems Programming experience.
• 5+ years of related IT Operations experience, bachelor's degree acceptable in lieu.
• 3–5 years of management experience in related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and thought leadership within the Mainframe tower and Business Unit.
• Offer technical support for SW solutions and guide team members.
• Direct Team Leaders and allocate resources.
• Participate in client and internal meetings and produce documentation.
• Mentor staff to raise performance and career development.
• Monitor changes in standards, technologies or methodologies.
• Oversee project management docs and align with client BU activities.
• Manage ticket queues and address aging tickets.
• Provide risk assessment and risk management planning.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews and goal setting.
• Delegate assignments and facilitate onboarding of new clients.
