Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Lead Constellation Design & Simulation Engineer for remote US work to own orbital architecture, coverage modeling, and constellation performance analysis. The role involves developing complex simulations and performing link-budget analyses for S-band NTN and Ka-band systems.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to define architecture requirements and support launch planning and deployment modelling, leveraging STK, GMAT, and FreeFlyer tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain coverage, latency, throughput, and capacity simulations.
• Close link budgets for S-band NTN and Ka-band systems.
• Conduct Doppler, propagation, and interference analyses.
• Run EPFD simulations and support ITU coordination activities.
• Produce coverage models and validation studies.
• Support launch planning and constellation deployment modelling.
